Friendsgiving tables have a specific problem: a dozen serving dishes need to fit on the table alongside place settings for everyone bringing them. This design starts from that constraint instead of fighting it.
A long runner in warm gold tones and a low string of votive candles down the center leave the rest of the table clear for serving platters. Place settings are deliberately simple — stoneware and mismatched vintage glassware — so the food stays the visual focus.
String lights and votives instead of taller candlesticks keep sightlines clear across a table this full, which matters more here than in a formal seated dinner.
